We are proud to announce that four talented Edna High School students—Andrew Schroer, Krish Thakor, Aiden Hoskins, and Madalyn Rogers—have advanced to the State Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE)! Their exceptional artistic achievements have earned them a spot at the prestigious state-level competition, which will take place April 25-26, 2025, at San Marcos High School.
VASE, organized by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA), is the largest high school art competition in Texas. The event recognizes outstanding student artwork and provides young artists with the opportunity to showcase their skills, discuss their creative processes, and receive feedback from professional jurors. Students who achieve the highest rating at the state level are awarded State Medals, and select artworks receive the prestigious Gold Seal Award, the highest honor in the competition.
Andrew, Krish, Aiden, and Madalyn’s advancement to the State VASE is a testament to their dedication, creativity, and hard work. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and wish them the best as they represent Edna High School at the state competition!
