Students Will Be Emailed Exam Information
Students will be emailed exam information at the email address the student provided in their College Board student account. It’s important that students can access the email address they provided from home. Students should login into their AP College Board account and verify their email address is correct and is an email accessible from home. It’s also important that students indicate their school correctly in their My AP registration, to ensure accurate score reporting.
AP Exam Security
AP Exams will be open book/open note. However, students may not consult with any other individuals during the testing period. Test security measures are in place to prevent students from attempting to gain an unfair advantage and prevent and detect cheating.
Points on the exam will NOT be earned from content that can be found in books or online
Each exams subject will be taken at the same time world wide. EHS does not control the timing or dates of the exams.
Students will be required to verify their identity and confirm the workd they submit is their own
A wide range of digital security tools and techniques, including plagiarism detection software and post-administration analytics, to protect the integrity of the exams.
Each student's AP teacher will receive copies of th work the student ubmits to us, enabling teachers to spot inconsistencies with student's known work.
Students Who Violate Exam Security Will Receive Consequences
Students whose responses mirror online content or other students' submissions will have their scores canceled.
Students sharing or receiving exam content or exam responses will be blocked from AP testing and their AP scores will be canceled.
If we determine that a student gained or provided an unfair advantage on an AP Exam, AP Collegeboard will notify the high school so the school can take the necessary disciplinary action.
Students who attempt to gain an unfair advantage may also be prohibited from taking future AP, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, or CLEP assessments.
Under certain circumstances, Collegeboard may inform law enforcement of any incident to determine if prosecution of the test taker, or anyone assisting the test taker in misconduct, is warranted.
