Congratulations to Kyrstin Nieto, Kyle Zheng, and Miley Genett on advancing to the Congress State Meet!

UIL Congress is a mock legislative assembly competition in which Texas students draft, debate, and vote on legislation, including bills and resolutions.

A special shoutout to Kyle Zheng and Miley Genett for advancing to Super Congress, placing them among the top 18 contestants in the entire state — an incredible accomplishment. 🏆

Even more impressive, Kyle Zheng finished on the medal stand, bringing home the silver medal for Edna! 🥈👏

Great job to all of our students for their hard work and dedication, and a big thank you to their coach, Mark Ruiz, for his outstanding leadership and support.
