🤠 Reminder EIS Parents, Wrangler Relays is Monday, May 18th! It's going to be a fun time for 4th and 5th grade. 🏃♀️🏃♂️

Wishing a very Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms, grandmas, and maternal figures in the Edna ISD community! Your endless love and support keep our Cowboys and Cowgirls riding high. Have a wonderful day! 💙🐴✨

🎓✨ Our 5th grade students had an amazing time attending the “Careers and Me: What I Want to Be?” Expo hosted by Region 3 Education Service Center!
This was a wonderful hands-on experience that allowed students to explore many different career paths and opportunities for their future. Students had the chance to use tools related to electricity, welding, construction, architecture, and other skilled trades. They also explored sheriff’s equipment, sat inside armored vehicles and police cars, and visited college booths to learn more about higher education opportunities.
Inside the exhibit, students experienced activities involving technology and communications, agriculture, education, broadcasting, veterinary science, nursing, virtual reality, and even learned practical skills like writing checks.
Our students had a blast exploring so many exciting careers, and these experiences will help inspire their future goals and dreams. 💙
A huge thank you to all of the organizations and individuals who helped make this event such a fun and meaningful experience for our students! 👏✨

🔥💃🕺 DANCE IT, CHANCE IT! 🕺💃🔥
This wasn’t your average review day… it was a full-on DANCE FLOOR takeover! 🎶 Mrs. Youngblood's 4th grade students were grooving around the room while tackling reading STAAR questions like pros!
When the music STOPPED… so did they—teaming up with the closest partner to break it down, talk it out, and lock in those answers!
Who said dancing and learning can’t go hand in hand?! 🎶📚 If it gets students moving, thinking, and smiling—we’re all in! 😄✨

Reminder, Edna ISD families! 🤠 There will be NO SCHOOL this Friday, April 3rd, in observance of Good Friday. We will see everyone back in class on Monday, April 6th. Have a safe and wonderful long weekend!

It's Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! 💙 Let's hear it for the incredible staff who keep things running smoothly and support our students every step of the way. We appreciate you! 🤠🐴🤍

Mrs. Andel's fourth graders explored the phases of the moon… with Oreos! 🍪
Students carefully scraped off the icing to represent each moon phase—from new moon to full moon—and then got to enjoy a sweet treat afterward. 🌙
A tasty experiment that was out of this world and a delicious way to learn about science! 🌕🌑🌗
